60 million tourists visit New York City each and every year. Many of them leave with souvenirs for friends and family or pieces of art work for decoration or keepsakes. CityStore (the official souvenir store for the city of New York), the Photo Mission at Rockefeller Center , Souvenirs.nyc (online), and the NiLu Gift Store rely on Artisanal Prints of Kingston, NY to provide dynamic NYC souvenirs on wood, travertine tumbled tiles, and canvas.
“We started our business with a Direct Jet 1014UV almost 4 years ago to produce very special products in very small quantities,” says David Andersson, Owner of Artisanal Prints. “It helped us to develop and adapt to our market in a very short period of time. I recently brought in the new Direct Jet 1800z printer to pair with the 1014UV to increase my capabilities and print size.”
Even though both models are considered small-format UV LED printers, Artisanal Prints can piece together numerous printed products for larger custom displays if needed – an impressive sight.
With a unique niche created, Artisanal Prints has broadened their scope to now include canvas. “The machines print wonderfully onto the canvas,” says Andersson. “We’ve been working with A&V Art and Demi Theoharis to reproduce their unique creations.”
Artisanal Prints captures the vibe and feel of NYC in their samples and unique New York photography. Take a look at www.artisanalprints.com for more examples of their work.
