Experience a new era of printing with our compact UV flatbed system, designed for a wide range of applications and superior performance. Say goodbye to gravity-fed, consumable print heads and the cumbersome maintenance they require. The MP Series of printers feature an advanced, integrated approach that eliminates the need for disposable print heads, capping stations and heavy maintenance schedules.
The MP Series leverages a negative-pressure ink delivery system, ensuring industrial-grade performance with precise, high resolution print results, every time. The optimized design ensures perfect and consistent ink delivery from start to finish, with minimal downtime and maintenance.
Two new industrial-grade UV LED systems in small and intermediate formats to fit any shop and application.
CPT is much more than print heads. This integrated approach encompasses every aspect of the ink delivery system to ensure a trouble-free precision print while making daily usage straight forward and simple. Print heads, ink delivery, and ink were designed to work as one system, bringing the features of larger, much costlier systems within reach for the smaller shop.
The MP Series consists of 2 new print systems to meet any application requirement. The intermediate format UV-32MP is a 36” x 24”/60cm x 90cm vacuum table that has an astounding 12”/30cm maximum material height. The small format UV-21MP utilizes the exact same ink delivery system in a 17” x 24”/44cm x 61cm vacuum table format with 7”/18cm maximum material height. Both systems are designed to produce all the DCS specialty applications you expect while opening the doors to whatever you want to do next
The UV-21MP is an all-new design from DCS. Leveraging CPT, its a small footprint printer with an industrial strength ink delivery system.
Our first design using CPT, the UV-32MP is a multipurpose workhorse for every application from ad specialty, braille/ADA and home decor to signage.
No it doesnt. A negative pressure system eliminates the need to cap the heads. This allows the nozzles to be ready to print at any time with a quick purge and wipe into a waste tray.
No, the CPT system incorporates industrial-grade stainless steel printheads as part of the ink delivery system. They are robust heads that are meant to last. With proper maintenance and care they could last 5 to 7 years.
Gravity fed systems rely on gravity to slowly weep ink out of print nozzles while they are at rest, this excess ink is collected in a capper. This can create a dirty area, clogged nozzles and replacement of parts. Negative pressure systems hold the ink at the nozzle while at rest, forming a meniscus over the orifice and eliminating the need for cappers, high maintenance and replacement parts.
In any industrial system, the entire ink delivery system is optimized for all aspects. CHROMASPHERE inks are specially formulated for the printhead, negative pressure system, wavelengths and curing system. The introduction of another ink would require many adjustments and brings some risk.
All current DCS printers use CMYK, white and clear as a standard. This allows all users to approach all of the specialty applications the systems were designed for. Braille/ADA, Texture3D and cylindrical printing aresome top examples.
Yes, negative pressure systems are designed to be able to sit in a standby mode for several days without use. For longer term idle times, there is a very simple shutdown prcedure. This is a clear advantage over gravity fed printers.
