DCS Introduces Flex33 Desktop Eco-Solvent Inkjet Printer

Flex33 Desktop Eco-Solvent Inkjet Printer

The new Flex33 printer from Direct Color Systems® (DCS) is the first available small-format solvent inkjet roll-to-roll desktop printer for signs, banners, vehicle graphics, POP, labels, decals, heat transfers and other flexible media. Calibrated for use with DCS's UV-stable and pigment-solvent MultiSolve™ inks, the Flex33 utilizes state-of-the-art micro-piezo head technology.

This DCS printer accepts rolls of media up to 5" (127mm) in diameter and 13" (330mm) in width and allows for a maximum continuous printable size of 12.5" x 10' (317mm x 3048mm). With an optimized resolution of up to 5760 dpi, it prints directly onto a vast range of standard uncoated media, available from many vendors. Among the various applications for which it is ideal are vinyl signage, vehicle graphics, electronics skins and bottle labels.

Shipped with Complete RIP, RIP and Cut, and print profile options, this new product is a complete solution. RIP and Cut, a unique feature, allows the user to print on vinyl or textile heat transfer and contour cut using a plotter.

The Flex33 features an 8-channel (Y, M, C, K, LM, LC, LK, O) print head, an adjustable media heater and a quick-change capping station. It comes complete with a MultiSolve mild solvent, UV-stable 8-color ink set. Click here for more information, available accessories and complete specifications.
