The 590 gives you the option to print directly onto a wide variety of pre-cut, rigid substrates, including metallic silver and gold finishes and engraving materials. It prints on media as small as 1" x 3" and as large as 2.6" x 10". If larger plates are desired, the DCS 1224 printer is for you. This printer accepts a substrate size as large as 12” x 24” and up to ¼” thick. With these size capabilities in mind you can understand why virtually any type of name plate can be produced on a Direct Color System.
Several Millennium features make job production function effectively with minimal effort. The automatic blank feeder tray lets you run batch jobs unattended. Actual print speeds are fast. You can print a one-color image in as little as 6 seconds and a full color image in as little as 35 seconds. Millennium’s printing process lets you print your job in one step.
