Subject: LOCATING SECURITY DEVICE ERROR WITH color byte™ 4.95, rev 4 ON CD ROM
Correcting The 'Dongle Not Found' Error Message
If you receive an error message stating that the "Security Device or Dongle" is not working, please follow these simple instructions to allow the color byte software to find this device.
Floppy Disk Instructions:

Place Disk #8 in your computer.

Select Start, Programs and then MS-DOS Prompt.

Type A: and enter. At the "A" prompt type hinstall/i and then enter. The software will now run a small program to locate the dongle. At the end of the program you should see a message stating that the dongle has been successfully found.

Type exit and the MSDOS window will close.
Please note: This program is also available on Disk #7 of the older version of Color Byte.
CD-ROM Instructions:

Place the CD-ROM in your computer.

Select the drive for your CD-ROM. Select Disk #8 and find the hinstall file.

Copy this file to a floppy disk.

Follow the instructions above for using the floppy disk hinstall program.
You may also elect to run the hisntall CD-ROM program directly in the MSDOS prompt by changing directories to Disk #8. Follow the above instructions in the floppy disk section.
