Subject: Windows 2000 and color byte™ 4.95
Our software vendor, Cadlink Technologies, has advised us that our color byte software, version 4.95 will not work with the new Windows 2000 operating system. We have discontinued the sale of version 4.95 some months ago and Cadlink is no longer doing any active programming on this product. Therefore, any customers using color byte 4.95 who wish to run the new Windows 2000 operating system will need to purchase an upgrade to the latest version of color byte 5.0 from their distributor.
If anyone is having any problems in the field with earlier builds of color byte 5.0 running under Windows 2000, please contact DCS Technical Support for your free version of the latest build of color byte 5.0.
