Subject: Color Byte 5.0 Program Fixes and Updates
Several known issues with color byte 5.0 have been addressed and fixed in a new version of the software ready for immediate release. In addition to "fixes" implemented, the new release includes expanded bitmap editing and color matching capabilities. The following changes/additions have been made:

Easy Access to color byte Color Palette in Prismscan
The new version is color byte 5.0, Rev. 5.5, Production Date Feb. 3, 2000, Build 19. Contact the Customer Service department at DCS to request a free copy of the revised software (telephone: 860-829-2244 or e-mail: carolinel@directcolorsystems.com).

Note that the Updates document has been added to the electronic version of the color byte 5.0 Resource Guide as Appendix A. The updated Resource Guide is included on all updated software CD’s.
