Subject: Millennium 106 EPROM Advantages
All Millennium printers shipping now have version 106 Eproms and the corresponding driver, version 427 "101999". A great deal of work has gone into making this upgrade. We have tested the driver and Eproms combination both in house and for many months in actual customers' business locations. The 106 Eproms and associated driver has:

Virtually eliminated ribbon breakage.

Enhanced registration of dye sub colors.

Improved registration of resin ribbon printing.

Ease of centering images on different size materials.

More meaningful check box labels.
If you would like a free 106 Eprom upgrade along with a driver for your Millennium printer or your customer's printer, please contact customer service at dcs at orders@directcolorsystems.com or 860-829-2244 (800-693-6376). (When you power up the printer you can read the Eprom version number on the LCD.)
Instructions will accompany this upgrade and should only take approximately 5 minutes to change and 15-20 minutes to re-calibrate the machine afterwards.
