Direct Color
Systems™ (DCS) engineers, manufactures and markets small format,
direct-to-substrate thermal and ink jet printers. DCS also markets related
printing supplies, including software, inks, substrates and accessories. Our
distributors are located in over 30 different countries around the world.

Blair Allen,
President

Blair has been involved with
the plastics business for more than 15 years and with DCS since its inception.
Blair’s knowledge of the printing and sheet plastic industry coupled with his
domestic and international contact base is extremely valuable to DCS in bringing
new and innovative products to market.
Bill Allen, Chief Operating Officer

Bill has over 15 years of management experience in various industries and
start-up companies. Bill’s primary responsibilities are corporate finances along
with day to day operations and sales of materials.
Gene Musicus, Vice President of Technical Services

Gene has been with the company since 1997. He came to DCS from New Hermes
Corporation where he headed the technical and service division. Gene’s equipment
knowledge and customer service skills bring a great deal of comfort to the
distributors and customers around the world.
Bob Degerstrom, Director of Sales
North America

Bob has over 20 years of sales and product development
experience in printing, graphics and imaging technologies. Prior to joining DCS,
he most recently was Director of Digital Business
Development for Saati Print. He has also served as Global Channel Manager for
Aellora Digital and Sales Manager for Mutoh America. His
background includes developing sales channels by targeting commercial
printers, distributors, dealers, systems integrators and OEM accounts, both
domestically and internationally.
Mike Cardin, Electrical
Design and Engineering

A graduate of the University
of Connecticut’s School of Engineering, Mike has worked in the electronics field
for more than 20 years. At DCS, he manages the electrical design and
engineering team for our various printer lines.
Steve Chamberland,
Product Design and Mechanical Engineering

For
nearly three decades, Steve has designed machinery for office and light
industrial applications. CT-based Gerber and Scan Optics are two of his most
notable former employers. Steve is a graduate of Porter and Chester Institute
and manages the day to day design and mechanical efforts at DCS.

Betty has been with DCS from
the start and so have many of her customers. After more than a decade in the
printing industry, Betty is still amazed by the endless applications and the
unique nature of the technology. Her longevity and consistency serve DCS
